Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook, the Canadian actor most well-known for the role of Jennifer Jareau (JJ) as JJ in the films The Criminal Minds as well as The Virgin Suicides in 1999 and 2003 respectively. She is also known for other parts. Cook's television credits comprise Dead Like Me (also known as Tru Calling), Higher Ground, Bluemoon and PSI Factor. Cook was raised in Whitby in Ontario from her mother and father, Sandra and Mike and Mike, who both taught at the school. She grew up along with three siblings: Angela, Nathan and Paul. They were raised as Mormon or a participant in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and only performs roles that aren't at odds with her faith or the principles in The Mormon Church. In her early years, she picked the ballet, tap and jazz lessons. She had been in many dance contests however it wasn't until she turned 17 before she decided to try acting. Dirty Dancing, starring Patrick Swayze was the catalyst for Cook to become an actress. Cook tied the knot with her boyfriend Nathan Andersen in August 2001. She was introduced to Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University and took a class on film. They share a son, Mekhai Allan Andersen, born on the 13th of September in 2008. She currently lives in Los Angeles
