Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish traditions, she moved in New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in theater at Tisch School of Arts. But very soon, she became active in the club scene and made enough noise that she was seen by the media and concurrently, becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. She eventually used her experience and her fame in order to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me in which she played a role in. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her assignment. When the show ended, she went on to join the film and TV productions. She started with tiny roles and then established herself slowly as an actress.
