Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the US and is an actress, producer, writer/singer/director. Most well-known is her being the character Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the lead actress in them. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest child from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on 8 January 1977. Danielle is her older sister, and she's an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson has appeared on Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's end. Behind the camera, she used her writing abilities into her Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like 2010's Drones.
