Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actor, singer-songwriter and musician. Her main focus is Tamil and Malayalam films. Her acting debut was with the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister works as a Belgian research assistant who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah comes born in Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a classes in classical piano when she was eight years old, was described as an "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother whose man has an affair. Andrea was selected for the part after actors Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The film came out in the beginning of 2010. The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to fill a smaller support role. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's romance movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
