Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions in the One Direction band. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools was the founder of a band called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they took home the trophy. He always showed an interest in music, but he wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. When he worked in the city's pastry shop, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. This is why his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation was a fact in 2010 and the five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. In the contest, the group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to be the winner. They were however in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract for One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
