Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast is considered to be one of the sport's best athletes. As the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to achieve four golds in the same Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first to hold three world titles consecutively. Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her younger sister Adria were adopted by their grandparents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at age six after a visit with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's coaching until the year 2011. Biles achieved a silver medal at vault in 2010 and a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to elite-level competitions in 2011. Within less than two years, she was the best in her sport. Biles made headlines by her consistent performance, her enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of challenge she made throughout each competition--vault bar, uneven bars as well as balance beams and ground exercises.
